A tape recording from a press conference given by the Beatles in 1966 is set to make thousands of dollars at auction this summer (10).
The audio includes John Lennon being grilled by journalists over his controversial comment in which he claimed the band was "more popular than Jesus".
The 14-minute reel, recorded during a press event in Toronto, Canada, lay undiscovered in a drawer for more than 40 years and will now go on sale at auction house Bonhams & Butterfields in Los Angeles on 13 June (10).
The tape is expected to sell for between $20,000 to $25,000 (£13,333 to £16,667).
Other items to featured in the auction include a rare watercolour from the animated 1940 Walt Disney film Pinocchio, and one of Michael Jackson's white rhinestone gloves.
