Rare and never-before-seen items belonging to late Beatles star George Harrison have been unveiled at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.
Harrison's widow, Olivia, invited the museum's bosses to the home they shared together in Henley-on-Thames, England, and allowed them to hand pick the items for the display, which ends on 26 March (12).
The museum's deputy director, Rita George, was overjoyed to get her hands on the rare memorabilia, telling the Bbc, "George has been gone for just over 11 years now. It's a great story. He was known as the quiet Beatle and it's great to be able to tell his story.
"It's a treasure trove of personal effects, lyrics and costumes. We were lucky to go in and hand pick the items from Olivia's collection. Many of the items will be seen for the first time in public and (it) is likely to be the last time. We are sending it directly back to Olivia after the museum display is finished."
Harrison died in 2001 after a battle with lung cancer.
