Razorlight have joined The Kooks, Kasabian and Oasis as headliners of this summer's Eden Sessions.

Johnny Borrell and co will take the stage at the Cornish ecological park on July 9th, it was announced today.

Having been named best new band by NME and Q after their 2004 debut Up All Night, Razorlight's self-titled 2006 follow-up hit the number one spot and featured chart-topper America, also a Brit award nominee.

And the London four-piece's third effort, Slipway Fires, peaked at number four in late 2008 after the hit single Wire to Wire.

"We've had our sights on Razorlight for the last three years and they will be a real highlight," said Eden's creative director Peter Hampel.

"With four bands confirmed already, this year's sessions see some of the world's greatest guitar bands descending on Cornwall."

Tickets for the Razorlight Eden Session go on sale at 18:00 GMT on Tuesday March 10th priced at £35 each (not including booking fee).
