They're used to a scandal on 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', with rarely a week going by without something developing. However things are all a little more shocking when said scandal could mean that one of them ceases to become a housewife at all - and that's exactly what's happening to Adrienne Maloof.
TMZ reports that Maloof's husband, Dr. Paul Nassif, has filed documents to end his and Maloof's marriage, which requesting joint legal and physical custody of their children and also requesting that each party pay their own legal fees. He told TMZ "The welfare of our children is my primary focus as Adrienne and I work through this difficult time", continuing "I want the best for her and our children and I hope that everyone can respect our privacy away from the cameras."
Meanwhile the Daily Mail has written a report which suggests that, though the decision to part has been a mutual one, made - as Nassif said - for the good of their children, it might not be as clean cut a divorce as Maloof's now former husband would want, with the business woman apparently seeking full custody of their children. There's also the issue of money; with a fortune of $300 million, there's always going to be the chance that Maloof will have Nassif sniffing around for a share, but she apparently believes that the pre-nuptials the pair signed when marrying will protect that.
