Eric Mika is expected to be ousted as publisher of the Hollywood Reporter in the latest shakeup at the trade publication, which has been bleeding subscribers and advertisers, Sharon Waxman reported on her TheWrap.com website Monday, citing knowledgeable individuals. According to Waxman, the dismissal of Mika is part of a rumored overhaul of THR by its new owners, e5 Global Media, that includes its being replaced by a once-a-week print magazine that will be updated daily online. Meanwhile, Nikki Finke announced Monday that she had hired Hollywood Reporter TV editor Nellie Andreeva ("one of my fiercest competitors") to cover television for her Deadline Hollywood website. In a statement, Andreeva thanked the trade publication for hiring her 10 years ago despite "zero Hollywood connections." She added "I probably would've never left if it weren't for a big new opportunity." Terms of the opportunity were not disclosed.
