Rihanna has been showing pictures of her latest Tattoo on microblogging site Twitter, with the star's latest body art possibly being done in homage to the late rapper Tupac Shakur. The pop star has set about dismantling any squeaky clean image the public may have had of her in the past few months, with banned videos, trips to x-rated shops, rumors of pot smoking and alleged trysts with backing dancers all being part of the 23 year-old's recent life. With that sort of few months behind her it's almost linear that she should get a tattoo, the stereotypical thing to do for any would-be rebel, and - praise be- she has complied.
"Look who's in the Tattoo parlor...Danny Trejo G4l p.s. Look up his story!" Rihanna tweeted, as indeed 'MAChete' star Danny Trejo was also at the parlor to be inked. The pair were at the place of Mark Mahoney, a legendary tattooist known for inking Cheryl Cole, David Beckham and Angelina Jolie amongst others.
The next pic Rihanna shared was of her lying on her front as Mahoney etched a design into her skin, captioning it with the words "'Tat my f***in name on u girl so I know its real!!! Mine," words from Canadian artist Drake's track 'Free Spirit.' Confirmation of what the tattoo would actually be however was not forthcoming, the star instead teasing us with a picture of her with the words 'Thug Life' written on her knuckles, suggesting that the final tattoo might also feature the Tupac-immortalised words.
