Robbie Williams acknowledges music mogul Simon Cowell was "probably right" when he urged the pop star to go home to his mother to sort out his problems instead of check into rehab. Unsympathetic Cowell blasted Williams and Britney Spears, while they were undergoing treatment at Arizona's The Meadows clinic and California's Promises respectively, claiming the singers had no idea what hard life really was. The American Idol judge said, "This whole thing is a total indulgence. Britney and Robbie need to get a grip... So when I hear about the Robbies and the Britneys going to into rehab, I think, 'I'll tell you what rehab is. Go to where I just went, where people are really suffering and then you'll see just how good your life is.'" The former Take That singer has overcome his addiction to painkillers and caffeine after checking out of The Meadows on 3 March (07) and is now feeling better than ever. He says, "It's going really good. I got the train back on the track. I've been sober since February 13 and look at me - I'm brand spanking new again. "Simon was quoted as saying, 'Britney and Robbie just need to get their s**t together and go spend a few weeks with their mothers.' "He is usually right about things. He's probably right about that."

nooooo, Cowell wasnt right and the proof is that Rob after being in the rehab clinic, hes better now :-)we cant think that all our probs can be resolved at home among our family.....and for that it exists places where ppl can do that with professional help......in Portugal they say these wise words:«Saints near the door dont make miracles.»that means: sometimes we must look for the miracles outdoors, far from home.........plz Rob think wot u think and dont give attention to ppl who say silly thingsXXXXXXXX:-*

maria, sorry l dont really agree with you, am not a fan of simon but truth have to be told to the ones we care about and love,...robbie have been going for rehab treatment and l believe he should try something new cos if he keeps getting that treatment,. and depression and all that keeps coming back, then it shows that its not so effective,..however visiting the less previliges and being with family may not be the final solution but it will make a difference in the life of robbie, it will affect his opionon about life in generall positively...because robbie is a man with a good heart ,a man that sings those beautifull songs ,songs that impact in peoples life positevily..so there is no way that he will not be affected positively when he does something different ,like being with family and visiting realy poor countries and war torn countries etc ,l maybe wrong but there is no harm in tryng something new .robbie what do u think?????
