Australian actor Robert Hughes will have to wait until March (13) to enter a plea on 11 child sex charges after his case was delayed.

The former Hey Dad..! star was arrested in London last August (12) over allegations he indecently assaulted five youngsters in Australia between 1985 and 1990, and he was extradited back to his native country in December (13).

He was due to enter a plea in a Sydney court this week (beg28Jan13), but the case was adjourned following his brief appearance at Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday (29Jan13).

The delay has reportedly been scheduled to allow prosecutors more time to fully prepare their case, which goes back to court on 5 March (13).

Hughes, 64, is expected to fight the charges against him. He remains free on bail.
