Bee Gees star Robin Gibb is consulting a nutritionist in a bid to help him regain his health and put on weight following his tough cancer battle.
The veteran singer underwent an intense course of weekly chemotherapy sessions following his liver and colon cancer diagnosis last April (11) and he told fans over the weekend (31Mar12) that the disease is now in remission.
Gibb's son Robin-John now reveals his father is seeking help from an expert to ensure he is eating the best foods to bulk up.
He tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "It's about building him up again now. He has always been slim but he did lose a lot of weight during the chemotherapy, and he knows it's important to stick to a program now to overcome that.
"We've brought in a nutritionist to manage his diet and keep him on track - sometimes people need the encouragement to make sure they focus on it. It's not about fighting the cancer right now, it's about building strength to move forward."
