Rocker Randy Gane has suffered a heart attack.
The keyboardist, who is a member of Geoff Tate's newly-assembled Queensryche, went into cardiac arrest on Wednesday night (26Dec12), but further details about his current condition are not known.
Tate announced the news in a post on his Facebook.com page on Thursday (27Dec12), asking fans to send their best wishes to the former Myth star.
His statement reads, "Please send your prayers and positive thoughts to my good friend and keyboard player; Randy Gane who is currently recovering from suffering a heart attack last night".
The band is slated to play a New Year's Eve show in Aberdeen, Washington on Monday (31Dec12).
