Reunited heavy metal band Ceremonial Oath delighted fans in its native Sweden on Friday (04Jan13) by performing its first show in 20 years at the inaugural Gothenburg Sound Festival.
Singer Oscar Dronjak, guitarist Anders Iwers, bassist Jesper Stromblad and drummer Markus Nordberg decided to reform the group last year (12), and the rockers kicked off 2013 with a big comeback gig in the city of Gothenburg, playing fan favourites including Enthroned, Lords of Twilight, The Book of Truth and Hellbound.
The band, which initially split in 1995 after just six years together, is expected to announce more live shows in the coming weeks.
