Rod Stewart is returning to America's leading home shopping Tv channel to boost sales of his upcoming festive album, Merry Christmas, Baby.

The rocker set new sales records when he performed songs from his Fly Me to the Moon... The Great American Songbook: Volume V album exclusively for Hsn two years ago and became the largest-selling music artist on the shopping channel.

And he'll be back for another Tv special on 26 October (12) - four days before the release of his new holiday compilation, his first as a Verve Music Group performer.

Lionel Richie also tasted success on Hsn earlier this year (12) after performing songs from his country duets album Tuskegee, becoming the second largest-selling music artist.

Stewart will be joined by friend, collaborator and Verve Music chairman David Foster when he performs on Hsn. Foster produced and arranged Merry Christmas, Baby.

The album also features duets with Cee Lo Green, Michael Buble and another Hsn favourite, Mary J. Blige, and there's also a virtual duet of What Are You Doing New Year's Eve? with soul and R&B legend Ella Fitzgerald.
