Human rights activist Rodney King has been sentenced to 20 days of home confinement following a Dui arrest last year (11).
King was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence in Riverside County, California on 12 July (11) after he was found to have high levels of alcohol and marijuana in his system.
But the Celebrity Rehab star escaped jail time by striking an agreement with prosecutors and instead pleaded guilty to one count of reckless driving, according to Tmz.com.
A judge sentenced King to three years summary probation and 20 days of house arrest. He was also ordered to enrol in a nine-month alcohol education programme and pay a $500 (Gbp312.50) fine as well as court costs.
This marks King's latest run-in with the cops - his brutal televised beating by Los Angeles police officers in 1991 sparked the L.A. Riots and he was convicted of a Dui in 2004.
