Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Bruce Willis were among the famous faces in the crowd when The Rolling Stones took to the stage for a surprise show in Los Angeles on Saturday night (27Apr13).
The British rockers are due to kick off their 50 & Counting North American tour at the Staples Center on 3 May (13), and they thrilled fans by playing an intimate warm-up show in the city.
Tickets for the concert at the Echoplex venue, which has a capacity of 700, sold for just $20 (£12.50) each and were allocated to fans via a ballot in the hours before the gig.
Hollywood actors Depp and Willis were in the audience, as well as former child stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, DJ Skrillex, film mogul Brian Grazer and No Doubt rocker Tony Kanal.
