Rocker Ronnie Wood struggled to see any banners at THE ROLLING STONES' London show on Sunday (25Nov12) because he refused to wear his glasses onstage.

The band headlined the U.K. capital's O2 Arena to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the group, and 20,000 fans flocked to watch the landmark concert.

However, Wood admits he had problems seeing into the audience, and had to turn to his bandmate Sir Mick Jagger for help reading gig-goers' signs.

He tells Britain's The Sun, "If I haven't got my glasses on I can only see the first couple of rows. It was quite funny the other day with the signs people hold up. I went up to Mick and said, 'What does it say on that sign there?' And he went, 'I think it says you are rubbish'."

The band returns to the venue for a second gig on Thursday (29Nov12) and will then head Stateside to play two comeback concerts in New Jersey and another in New York next month (Dec12).
