Ronson Baffled By Boyzone Collaboration
Super producer Mark Ronson is baffled by reports he has signed up to work with Irish boyband Boyzone - insisting he has nothing to do with their new album.
The band's frontman Ronan Keating recently unveiled plans for their upcoming record, revealing the Grammy Award winner had agreed to join the group in the studio.
He said, "Mark Ronson is involved. I like him a lot, I'm a big fan. The album is very different than what people would expect. It's colourful, uplifting, uptempo stuff.”
But Ronson has thrown the project into confusion - by insisting Keating's announcement is the first he has heard of the collaboration.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "I read I was working with the group Boyzone. Um, categorically untrue."
In-demand Ronson shot to fame after producing hit albums for Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse.
