Russell Simmons - Russell Simmons Knocks $2 Million Off Penthouse Asking Price
Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons has slashed the price of his New York penthouse by $2 million (£1.29 million) in a bid to offload the property.
The Def Jam Recordings co-founder has been trying to get rid of the luxurious duplex in Manhattan's Financial District since before the September 11 attacks in 2001, and had previously attracted interest from rap pal Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
However, the property - which has been on and off the market since its initial listing - has struggled to land a buyer with its $11 million (£7.09 million) price tag, and Simmons has now relisted it for $9 million (£5.8 million).
The apartment boasts four bedrooms, a study, a screening room and a library, in addition to two private outdoor terraces.
