Sacha Baron Cohen The New Walter Mitty?
Sacha Baron Cohen is reportedly being lined up for the title role in 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' following numerous studio, casting and director changes to the project, which has been in development for 16 years.
Sacha Baron Cohen is the latest star linked to a remake of 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'.
The comedy actor - most famed for his comedic alter egos including Austrian fashion designer Bruno and Kazakhstan reporter Borat - will reportedly take on the title role in the comedy, which is based on Danny Kaye's 1947 film.
The project has been in development since 1994, when Jim Carrey was slated to play the lead, before he dropped out with Owen Wilson expected to take on the part and 'Austin Powers' actor Mike Myers most recently connected to the project.
Peter Morgan is said to be writing the latest script, which sees Walter undertake a different occupation to the original film.
Where he was once a bumbling writer, he will now be transformed into a meek store manager with dreams of being a hero.
