Saturday Night Live has hired three new performers ahead of its 38th season. The popular show has lost some regular faces, according to the Los Angeles Times, but has acquired some fresh talent to replace them.

Entering a staggering 38th season, Saturday Night Live’s relentless run on U.S televisions is to remain unhampered, or at least producers will hope so, by it’s cast members leaving for pastures new. Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson and Cecily Strong have all been enlisted to replace Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg, who departed last season. Abby Elliott, daughter of ‘SNL’ alumnae Chris Elliott, left the show over the summer with long-time performer Jason Sudeikis yet to announced if he'll remain with the show for the entire season. Bryant was a member of the Second City E.T.C. stage, Robinson performed on the Second City main stage as well as part of the national touring company and Strong was also a member of the national touring company.

September 15th will see the premiere of the latest season, with Seth Macfarlane as host, and Frank Ocean as his musical guest. Joseph Gordon-Levitt follows on September 22nd accompanied by Mumford And Sons, with Daniel Craig hosting the show on October 6th; his musical guest will be British rock band Muse, who recently performed at both the Olympic and Paralympic closing ceremonies.
