Scorpions Star Klaus Meine Mourning Mother

German rocker Klaus Meine is in mourning following the death of his mother.

The Scorpions singer's mum Erna suffered a stroke last month (Oct12) and passed away on 25 October (12) at the age of 92, according to news website Bild.de.

Klaus says, "She was a fighter. We were so hoping that she could be able to make it. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers that were sent (to) me and my family during this sad and difficult time."

Funeral services for Meine's mother were held over the weekend (03-04Nov12) in Hainholz, Germany.
