A dating website profile purportedly set up by Scott Rudin has been dismissed as a fake by the The Social Network producer's spokesperson.
A photo of the film and theatre producer appeared on Match.com under the user name FluffyLongS**long, while the accompanying description painted him as a 49-year-old widower with several kids.
The profile reads: "I'm looking for my soulmate, someone to take long walks on the beach with Winston my poodle puppy. I'm looking to retire in the snowy hills of Vermont with my soon to be lover."
But a representative for Rudin, who lives in New York City with his boyfriend John Barlow, insists the page is the work of an internet prankster.
The rep tells the New York Post's Page Six, "Clearly it's absurd - Scott doesn't own a poodle."
