Seinfeld Sets His Sights On The London Stage
American comedian Jerry Seinfeld is considering abandoning his native New York, to relaunch a stand-up career in London. The Seinfeld star is currently in the U.K. promoting his animated movie Bee Movie, and he claims to have been inspired by the British capital, where he last took to the stage in 1998. The 53-year-old funnyman told London radio station Heart FM he was thinking hard about returning to the stage, and trying out his act on English audiences. Seinfeld said, "I would love to. Since I've been here I've been talking of a lot of people about it. I think it's a great idea. I'm going to definitely look into it. "The audiences here are great and I haven't been here for a long time. I think it might be fun." Seinfeld isn't the only Bee Movie star with his sights on the London stage - Chris Rock, who lends his voice to mosquito Mooseblood in the cartoon caper, is due to perform a series of sold-out stand up shows in Britain in January (08).
