Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder has landed a new TV job fronting a show which searches for Ufos.
The star is best known for his drug-fuelled wild days in the British band, but has been hiding a secret obsession with extra-terrestrials.
He will now attempt to prove the existence of alien life in his eight-part TV series Shaun Ryder On Ufos, which will air on The History Channel, according to Britain's The Sun.
The newspaper reports Ryder will travel to Peru, Chile and Australia to investigate Ufo sightings.
A source says, "He'll try to separate fact from fiction and meet odd characters, some of whom make him look sane. It will be revelatory but funny."
