Caine's Arcade , a short-and-sweet film about a nine-year-old boy who created an entire arcade of games from cardboard boxes discarded by his father at an East L.A. auto shop, has now been viewed nearly two million times on YouTube (http //www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=faIFNkdq96U) and Vimeo (http //vimeo.com/40000072) and has made the star of the film, Caine Monroy, internationally famous. Writing in the Los Angeles Times, reporter Deborah Netburn called the 11-minute film, "one of the sweetest videos we've seen all year" and advised readers to "have a box of tissues nearby" when they see it. She reported that filmmaker Nirvan Mullick, who directed it, set up a scholarship fund for Caine that has already raised more than $80,000. But probably delighting the boy far more, TMZ is reporting that the owner of Pins and Needles, a store that sells pinball machines, has offered to contribute a real, $3,000 pinball machine to Caine's Arcade -- free.
