Pop star/actress Jessica Simpson suffered sleepless nights while shooting her new reality TV show THE PRICE OF BEAUTY in Uganda - because huge spiders and crazy dreams kept her awake.
The singer has been travelling around the world checking out beauty regimes and glamour culture in different countries and she admits the time she spent in Uganda was tough.
She says, "There were spiders the size of, like, double my hand. I couldn’t sleep."
And when she did drop off, medication she was taking to ward off illness left her with "crazy dreams".
Now, back in America, she has only just weaned herself off the anti-malaria pills.
She tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood, "We’ve all been trying to get off our malaria pills and we feel crazy! They just make you have crazy dreams and then, when you get off them, it’s like, 'Wait, aren’t I supposed to be crazy right now?'"
Simpson's next stop is Morocco.
