Eighties pop star Sinitta stayed loyal to her ex-boyfriend Simon Cowell by refusing to contribute to an explosive new biography about the music mogul.
Journalist Tom Bower's new tome Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell has made headlines in the U.K. over allegations the TV talent judge enjoyed a fling with pop star Dannii Minogue.
Cowell spoke to the author in relation to the book, but his spokesman Max Clifford revealed, "It was Simon's choice but my attitude is you don't talk to someone like Bower. He's only looking for controversial stuff. It was a mistake."
And now the So MACho hitmaker, who dated Cowell sporadically for 20 years, admits she's glad she agreed not to be a part of the controversial project.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "For the Record I gave a verbal agreement Not to contribute to Tom Bower book and kept my word. Will Read it this Friday with smelling Salts."
