Veteran singer Sir Tom Jones is set to headline a special concert in London in celebration of the Olympic Games.
The Sex Bomb star will take the stage for a free gig in the British capital's Hyde Park on 28 July (12).
The performance is being organised as part of a series of outdoor concerts and parties held across the U.K. to coincide with the sporting spectacular.
London Mayor Boris Johnson says, "We're presenting an unprecedented number of events to suit every taste and make this a summer like no other. It's a fantastic way for hundreds of thousands of people to experience live Games action for free."
Duran Duran will toast the opening of the Olympics with a live show on 27 July (12), while a second concert, featuring Blur, New Order and The Specials, will mark the closing of the Games on 12 August (12).
