James Bond - Skyfall Is Fifth Biggest Film In U.k. Box Office History
New James Bond film Skyfall has become the fifth biggest British film of all time after raking in a further $16.7 million (£10.4 million) to continue its reign over the U.K. box office chart.
The action adventure, starring Daniel Craig as the suave superspy, has now grossed a total of $115.2 million (£72 million) from the U.K. market alone since its release last month (Oct12) and remains at number one for the third consecutive week.
Animated film Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is a distant second with a $2.18 million (£1.36 million) take, while Argo is at three with $2.06 million (£1.29 million).
Comedy Here Comes The Boom and action thriller Taken 2 round out the new top five.
