Bond blockbuster Skyfall is the toast of Hollywood after landing the top prize at the American Society of Cinematographers (Asc) awards gala on Sunday night (10Feb13).

The James Bond movie, starring Daniel Craig as the superspy, landed the Feature Film trophy for cinematographer Roger Deakins, seeing off competition from Les Miserables, Lincoln, Anna Karenina and Life of Pi.

Actress Angelina Jolie attended the Los Angeles ceremony to present the Asc Lifetime Achievement Award to Dean Semler, who was the director of photography on her 2011 directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey.

The event also produced honours for Tv shows Game Of Thrones, Hunted and Wilfred, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
