Rocker Slash is to return to his hometown in Britain for the first time since he was a child - to play a gig for fans.
The former Guns N' Roses star was born in London and raised in the northern city of Stoke-on-Trent but the family later relocated to Los Angeles.
The guitarist has now announced he will be playing a show in Stoke as part of his upcoming European tour - and he's excited to be heading back to his hometown after so many years away.
In a post on his Twitter.com blog, he writes, "It's gonna be epic! Actually it's more of a UK tour w/some (with some) Euro dates thrown in. We're playing Stoke! It's my 1st visit since I was five yrs (sic) old. Will post UK/Euro dates/venues very soon."
