Prospect Park, the company that plans to revive the soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live online, has filed a lawsuit against ABC claiming that ABC has broken the licensing agreement to which it agreed and has been working to sabotage the potential of the two shows online. In the suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Prospect Park claims that while the network licensed the characters from the two shows to it, it has hired the actors who portrayed those characters to appear on another soap opera, General Hospital, which it also produces. The dispute, originally reported by Deadline.com, will reportedly not interfere with the scheduled online debut of the two soaps, set for April 29, Prospect Park said.
