Soul legend James Brown has been posthumously inducted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame.
The Godfather of Soul was honoured at a special ceremony in Atlanta on Saturday (15Oct11) in recognition of his longheld interest in radio.
Brown owned or helped to operate stations across the states of Georgia, Maryland and Tennessee.
His daughter, Deanna Brown Thomas, was on hand to accept the award for her father, who died on Christmas Day in 2006, aged 73.
