Britney Spears' boyfriend Jason Trawick has re-signed as her agent as the superstar prepares for another pop comeback.
The Toxic hitmaker began dating Trawick in early 2009 and he stepped down from his post as her representative last May (10) so they could concentrate on their romance.
He continued to work at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, looking after the interests of clients such as Paris Hilton, Taylor Swift and Hilary Duff, but he has now rejoined the team in charge of Spears' career, a spokesperson has confirmed.
However, Trawick will not be helping with the singer's return to the pop charts - he will focus on her acting endeavours.
A source tells UsMagazine.com, "Jason will be part of the team handling her career. He won't be the only agent working with her."
Spears is due to release a new album, the follow-up to 2008's Circus, later this year (11). Her new single, Hold It Against Me, has already proved to be a big hit, breaking U.S. airplay records when it was distributed to radio stations earlier this month (Jan11).
The star teased fans on Monday (24Jan11) by releasing the first shot from the single's forthcoming video via her Twitter.com blog.
