Britney Spears has settled a lawsuit brought against her by a former manager who accused the pop star of failing to pay him commission.
Spears was sued by Florida-based Johnny Wright, who she worked with from 1999 until 2003, over claims the singer breached a contract by failing to pay him between 2006 and 2008.
The case was settled in a Los Angeles court on Friday (05Jun09), although terms of the financial agreement were not disclosed, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, who has been overseeing Spears' conservatorship, approved the settlement and also signed off $193,000 (£128,667) in legal fees to be paid by the singer, the majority going to the attorneys who handed the Wright case.
Spears was placed in a court-ordered conservatorship last year (08) which handed her father, Jamie, control over her legal and business affairs.
