A stuntman who was allegedly injured in Broadway musical SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK has filed a lawsuit over allegations of negligence.

Richard Kobak claims he suffered "repeated violent, hard, harsh and jolting landings" while performing high-flying tricks as the masked superhero during previews in 2010, and on Wednesday (13Feb13) he filed documents at the Manhattan federal court seeking $12 million (£7.5 million) in damages from bosses at Fisher Technical Services, who designed the rigging of his acrobatic harness, and Live Nation, who commissioned the product, according to the New York Post.

This is Kobak's second lawsuit over his role in the previously much-maligned stage show - last year (12) he filed a lawsuit against theatre producers, suggesting equipment used for the musical's aerial stunts wasn't properly calibrated and a computer programme, which controlled his jumps from a balcony, sent him flying into a wall.
