Sylvester Stallone can add pen manufacturer to his resume - he's signed up as a consultant and public face of luxury writing company Montegrappa.
The Rocky star is an avid collector of high-quality writing instruments and always uses a Montegrappa marker to ink his name on movie contracts.
Now he's taken his love of fine pens to another level - he's agreed to act as brand ambassador for the prestigious Italian company, and provide creative input for a new range of pens lined up for production next year (11), according to TradeArabia.com.
In return, the Hollywood star receives a major stake in the company.
Montegrappa boss Giuseppe Aquila says, "I have had the pleasure of meeting Stallone on many occasions, including the 2009 Venice Film Festival, where he was recognised for his filmmaking with the Glory To The Filmmaker Award.
"Stallone is much more than a friend - he is an icon and an artist and now, an integral part of Montegrappa's distinguished history."
