Horror author Stephen King's new play collaboration with rocker John Mellencamp has a start date - it will open in Atlanta, Georgia next April (12).
The odd couple has been working on Ghost Brothers of Darkland County for years, and now they're ready for previews.
The play will open at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre, which is where Broadway shows Aida and The Color Purple, got their start.
King wrote the play’s book, while Mellencamp added the music and lyrics.
Oscar winner T-Bone Burnett is the production's musical director.
