Martha Stewart put her domestic skills to good use while she was in prison - the lifestyle guru took charge of waxing the cell block floors during her stint behind bars.
The media mogul was jailed for five months in 2004 after being convicted of lying to U.S. federal agents investigating insider trading.
Stewart, who built her business empire on her cookery and home skills, admits she was delighted when prison officials put her in charge of cleaning - and insists the jail was "sparkling" by the time she left.
She tells Oprah Winfrey, "I knew how to wax (floors). That was easy. The hard part was learning how to clean the waxer. I had never really used a rug cleaner, the kind that has water in it, and the rugs were so dirty. I had the best time because if you have a job, you do it well. That's been my obligation my entire life. That place was sparkling when I left!"
