Fans of The Stone Roses have launched an online campaign to get the band's One Love anthem to the top of the U.K. charts as a tribute to tragic music lover Christopher Brahney.
The 22 year old went missing after attending the first of three of the band's comeback concerts in Manchester, England on 29 June (12) and police called off a search for the fan on Monday (09Jul12) after his body was found in the Manchester Ship Canal.
Now, devotees of the group have set up a page and are urging all fans to pay tribute to their peer by purchasing One Love on iTunes in the hope of getting the tune to number one in Brahney's memory.
Meanwhile, an autopsy to determine the reveller's cause of death is scheduled for Tuesday (10Jul12).
