Hollywood actor, director and veteran stuntman Danny Aiello III has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 53.
Aiello died in Hillside, New Jersey on Sunday (02May10).
The son of Oscar-nominated actor Danny Aiello, Jr., he began acting in his father's films, including a role as his dad's body double in Spike Lee's Do the Right Thing.
Aiello also directed his father in 1999 feature film 18 Shades of Dust.
His credits as a stunt co-ordinator included TV firefighter drama Rescue Me, U.S. soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live and forthcoming movie Sex and the City 2.
Aiello is survived by his wife and two daughters, as well as his parents, two brothers and a sister.
