A handwritten letter by celebrated poet T. S. Eliot has been discovered in London.
The correspondence between Eliot and his friend, British author Jacob Isaacs, details the American's queries about the content of a 1927 essay he had penned about William Shakespeare, titled Shakespeare and the Stoicism of Seneca, ahead of plans to republish it in 1957.
Eliot's note was included in a collection of memorabilia donated by Isaacs' widow to the U.K.'s Queen Mary, University of London, where Isaacs had worked as a lecturer, following his death in 1973, but it was only recently uncovered as school officials began to catalogue the items.
Eliot passed away in London in 1965.
