Taylor Swift doesn't read about herself on the internet.
The country star avoids all stories about her and if she sees something about her life or music on the web she clicks off the site.
She said: ''I try not to read anything about myself. My friends make fun of me because if I see my name somewhere, I just click off of it. If you read too many things about yourself that are just a little bit incorrect, you start obsessing over what people think about you. I really have no idea what the general perception is about me right now.''
Taylor - who is getting ready to release her new album 'Red' October 22 - also revealed she likes to bake when she is enjoying time away from work.
The 'Love Story' singer finds it very therapeutic to be in the kitchen because she can forget about her career while she is cooking.
She explained: ''There's something really calming about having everything measured out, and stirring, and preheating the oven. Fall is about to happen, and it's about to be baking overdrive. There's going to be pumpkin bread that I'll be making a lot of and giving to people.''
The 22-year-old musician announced the details of her new album on Monday (13.08.12) in a web chat with fans.
