Apparently, Taylor Swift and new beau Conor Kennedy were playing Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn this week when they crashed the wedding of Victoria Kenny's daughter, Kyle, last weekend.
Victoria's stepmother Kathie Lee Gifford spoke about the incident yesterday (August 23rd) on Today, saying Conor and Taylor had to be asked to depart the wedding twice, after the new couple showed up unexpectedly. Kathie Lee recounted that Conor, as Victoria had already stated in the Boston Herald earlier this week, was invited to the wedding but failed to Rsvp to the event. Apparently the young Kennedy sent Victoria a text two hour before the ceremony asking if he and Taylor could come, to which Victoria asked if they could please not come. Victoria then recounted that she chose to exclude Swift from coming to the wedding as she though that the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer would upstage her daughter. Kathie Lee also brought this up in her interview on Today.
However, Taylor's PR team have since denied these claims and a rep spoke to ABC News Radio on Wednesday (August 22nd), saying that Swift was in fact an invited guest to the wedding and the bride even thanked the singer for attending the ceremony.
