Taylor Swift is threatening legal action against a celebrity gossip website who claims to have obtained a nude photo of the country star. The 21-year-old says she was wrongly identified in a "leaked" image on the Celebrity Jihad website and is now considering suing, reports Tmz.com.
The photo in question features a topless woman, who bears a slight resemblance to the multi-award winning singer, with the headline, "Taylor Swift Topless Private Pic Leaked?" Taylor's lawyers were said to be infuriated and immediately fired off a letter to the website demanding the photograph be taken down. The document instructs Celebrity Jihad to remove all traces of the "false pornographic images and false news" or face a lawsuit for trademark infringement. A representative for the site says the blog is currently considering its options, but failed to confirm whether the photograph would be taken down, meanwhile, Swift's camp had no further comment on the matter.
The story is the latest in a number of celebrity 'nude picture' scandals. In recent months, Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively have been alleged to have featured in explicit photographs circulating the web. Earlier this month, the Fbi arrested a Florida man who was charged with hacking into the emails of Christina Aguilera, Johansson and MILA KUNIS.
