Taylor Swift has joined the cast of the forthcoming movie 'Dr. Seuss The Lorax'.
Taylor Swift, the American country sensation, has signed on to voice a character in the forthcoming Cgi-animated movie 'Dr. Seuss The Lorax', reports Reuters.Swift joins the likes of Danny Devito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron and Betty White in the adaptation of the classic children's book. The movie will follow the story of a young boy who searches for a way to win the affections of the girl of his dreams. He soon comes across the 'Lorax', a grumpy creature voiced by Devito. Swift will play the love interest of the young boy, played by Efron. The film will reunite many of the key players behind the hugely successful animated movie 'Despicable Me', including Chris Renaud who will direct the screenplay written by Cinco Paul and Ken Durio.
The role will represent Taylor Swift's second appearance on screen, following her live action debut in last year's romantic comedy 'Valentines Day'. The movie is expected to hit cinemas on 2nd March 2012.
