Comedy movie Ted has seen off its nearest rivals to remain top of the U.K. box office chart for a second week.
The film, starring Mark Wahlberg, took $5.1 million (£3.2 million) in ticket sales compared with the $3.3 million (£2.1 million) total for Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises.
Step-Up 4: Miami Heat came third, with takings of $1.08 million (£680,000), and the top five is rounded out by Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days ($963,200/£602,236) and animated movie Brave ($918,400/£574,261).
Cinema bosses in the U.K. have blamed the London 2012 Olympics for a huge 66 per cent slump in takings this month (Aug12).
