The Beach Boys have been revealed as the latest performers added to the Grammys performance bill, great news for fans of the seminal 60s group who only recently got back together as it'll be their first performance together in more than 20 years and follows the news that they'll be back with a new album and tour to mark their 50th anniversary as a band. They'll be performing alongside Maroon 5 and Foster The People.
Others to have been unveiled for the event include Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, jazz artist Diana Krall and funk musician Maceo Parker. Reba Mcentire, Diana Ross, Common and Taraji P. Henson will be among the presenters in what is turning into a typical Grammys event packed with globally recognised talent. Yesterday it was revealed that controversial R&B star Chris Brown would be performing at the ceremony with former girlfriend Rihanna also set to appear - it was of course at the Grammys three years ago that Brown's career almost fell apart after hitting the 'S&M' star whilst they were on their way to the event, following an argument.
Adele is expected to clean up at the awards, she's been nominated for six categories, one behind Kanye West, but crucially in all the main ones including the much coveted 'Best Album' class.
