The Beach Boys are to play a one-off UK gig later this year.

The legendary pop group - who are made up of Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks - will perform at London's Wembley Arena on September 28, 2012, as part of their 50 anniversary tour, their first together in more than 20 years.

The band - who were inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 - have been performing in North America, which saw them take to the stage at the Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in February alongside Maroon 5 and Foster The People.

Brian is due to produce the group's forthcoming album, 'That's Why God Made The Radio', which will be the first to feature all of the band's surviving original members in decades.

The 'Surfin' U.S.A' hitmakers also have a number of new commemorative releases planned for later this year, including a new hits collection and career-spanning box set.

Tickets for the Beach Boys' Wembley gig are priced at £65.00/£55.00 advance and are subject to booking fees. They are available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk or www.livenation.co.uk from 9am on Friday (01.06.12).
