The highly anticipated conclusion to award winning director Christopher Nolan's 'Batman' trilogy, 'The Dark Knight Rises', will feature in a live broadcast at the annual MTV Movie Awards.
Nolan, the film's writer and director, will introduce the exclusive new footage alongside stars Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne), Gary Oldman (Commissioner James Gordon) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (John Blake). The screening is a rare opportunity for a glimpse of any action in the movie, as any further plot details other than what you can witness in the trailer or read in the official synopsis have been well-guarded until its release on July 20th 2012. The movie is the third Nolan 'Batman' film after 'Batman Begins' from 2005 and 'The Dark Knight' from 2008.
Presenters at the awards show so far include comedy actor Adam Sandler, 'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson, 'Twilight' leading lady Kristen Stewart, Golden Globe winning 'Prometheus' actress Charlize Theron and Black Swan's Mila Kunis. Performing at the show are 'We Are Young' hitmakers Fun, and rapper Wiz Khalifa. Mtv fans are able to vote for the movies of their choice online until Saturday 2nd June but voting for Movie of the Year will remain available throughout the live show on June 3rd.
