Rod Stewart will reteam with his The Faces bandmates for the first time in almost two decades when the group is inducted in to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio next month (Apr12).
Drummer Kenney Jones made the big announcement during a recent interview with Music Radar.
He said, "We all had dinner about a month ago and decided that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame would be the perfect time and place."
And Jones is hoping the one-off get-together will lead to a tour: "We'll just have to see how it does. I'd like to think there's more to come, although it depends how everyone's individual schedules are shaping up. But we're all really looking forward to getting up on stage again, it's been far too long."
A full reunion tour has been blighted by bandmates Stewart and Ronnie Wood's schedules for well over a decade. The Faces reformed with Mick Hucknall as frontman for shows in 2010 and he has become the group's unofficial stand-in for Stewart.
